Who Are We?The Wednesday Voice exists to unite, represent and strengthen the voice of Sheffield Wednesday supporters. Built by fans, for fans, our mission is to create a positive, inclusive and independent supporters' group that champions the interests, traditions and future of our football club. We believe supporters are the heart of Sheffield Wednesday. Whether attending every week at Hillsborough, following from elsewhere in the country or supporting from afar, every Owl deserves to feel connected, valued and heard. We are committed to bringing together Wednesdayites from all backgrounds and all generations, including younger supporters who represent the future of our club. |
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Vice Chair and Co-Founder, John Tompkins.
John was a lifelong Sheffield Wednesday supporter and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a much-loved and valued member of our Wednesday family, and his contribution will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with John’s family, friends and all those who knew and loved him at this incredibly difficult time.
RIP John. You will be sorely missed.
